Alright I've gotten through the first day of my new way of eating. I am doing the Formula 40-30-30. Not a diet for me but a way to eat to help manage my diabetes and drop some needed pounds. My ultimate goals are to lose about 40 pounds, get off a majority, if not all, of my medication for diabetes, elevated cholesterol and high blood pressure. I want energy and stamina to keep up with life.
Now onto how my day was, I felt hungry all day (I wasn't really prepared food wise), I was still reading the book. Got home and my DH had a nutritous dinner of salad and baked chicken for me with a little cottage cheese with pineapple. Went to bed early, feeling really tired lately. I woke up same as the day before feeling rundown. Fasting sugars looked a lot better today. So are off to a good start.
